Matt graduated in 2018 with a First Class Honours in History and joined Executives in Africa following his studies. Since then, Matt has risen rapidly through the business, starting out in the research team to now being one of Executives in Africa’s most trusted Executive Consultants.

Over the years, Matt has secured and supported a wide range of clients globally. He supports blue-chip multinationals and Pan-African market leaders through to several listed business on the London, Paris, Swiss, Johannesburg, Lagos and Nairobi Stock Exchanges. He also works extensively with private equity and venture capital-backed startups and SMEs.

Since joining the consultancy team, Matt has completed over 80 search assignments, with a particular focus on appointing Board and Non-Executive Directors, Group Executive’s, and regional and country level C-Suite positions. He has executed projects across 29 African Markets to date, with a substantial focus on Nigeria, Kenya and Botswana. Matt has also completed assignments in international markets including the UK, France, USA, Netherlands and the UAE.

Whilst Matt brings cross-sector experience, he has deep knowledge and expertise within the Telecommunications, Financial Services and International Development sectors. He also regularly works within Renewable Energies, Construction and Building Materials, Mining, FMCG, Agriculture, Retail as well as Sport and Entertainment.
